This past weekend we went up to the Edwards cabin in Oakley with a bunch of friends. It was beyond fun. Who doesn't want a weekend snowmobiling, snow shoeing, tubing, playing games, great food, and snuggling up to to the hubby while it continues to snow all weekend. Well, it was perfect.
We found out that Battle of the Sexes is a game that has a very low view on women. The questions the guys had to answer:
What is your grandmother's sister called?
What is the piece of cloth called you put on a baby when they are eating?
We also found out that doing things one more time, always is better than just once. Come on guys, one more, one more!
While we were there, I was trying to figure out what I would do for my creative project due yesterday. It had to be based off of a reading we had done in my english class, and it had to be creative. Then it came to me. Snow. Cold. Fields. Matches. Camera. Brady. And so we "creatively" captured the visual images from Jack London's short story, "To Build A Fire," and Brady pretended to freeze to death. Such a good man.
And ruggedly handsome with his beard.
Also, one of my best friend's got engaged this weekend. Congratulations to Jake and Rach! They are getting married on July 21 and we are so excited for them! Join the ranks, marriage is bliss!
